Insulated glass consists of two pieces of glass
and aluminum frame filled with desiccant which keeps the air between
the glass dry. So in winter time, there
is no dew water on the surface of the glass.
Energy-saving:
K value of heat-conduction system, K value of the 6mm glass is 5.
75kcal/mh and the insulated glass is 1. 4 --2. 9kcal/mh. K value of
insulated glass filled with argon and sulfur fluoride gas can be 1.19kcal/mh
at least. Argon is used to reduce K value of heat-conduction while
sulfur fluoride gas is used mainly to reduce dB of noise. The two
kinds of gas can be applied separately and used together in certain
proportion.
Noise-proof:
Normal insulated glass can only reduce noise by 30 dB while insulated
glass filled with inert air can reduce noise from 80 dB to 45 dB.
Dew-proof:
There will be no condensed water on surface of the insulated glass
in winter time.
Application:
Office building, hotel, hospital and library, broadcasting room,
record canopy, computer room, windows of autos and trains and airport
control tower as well as places where heat preservation and heat
control is required.
